COVID-19

As I sit here by myself  in my office today March 25, 2020 and think about what is going on and how much impact COVID-19 has effected our school, town, state, country and World,  my heart goes out to my Seniors.  Little did they know, that when they walked out the doors for Spring Break that that would be the last time they would walk out of this beautiful building as a Student.   Be sure that we will be working on some type of celebration (graduation) for this special group of young men and women.

Today March 25, 2020 the State School Board announced that we will not return to the classroom for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  We will instead go to a continuous learning plan which will include online lesson and/or packets sent home so students can continue learning while the school is closed.   We expect to have our continuous learning platform ready for our students on Monday April 6th.  The teachers will be reaching out to the students on or before April 6th.  If you have changed your telephone number recently please call the school or email me with your new number. dharris@apswarriors.com.

This also means that all extracurricular activities, banquets, prom and special events will be cancelled.  

We are Warriors and we will conquer this like true Warriors do!
